🍷🍇 MCWILLIAMS WINES DEAL STRUCK 🍇🍷 After going into administration more than 12 months ago, historic Australian winery, McWilliams Wines, has been bought. The Griffith based Calabria Family Wines will acquire a 75 per cent stake in the 1877 established winery, in what’s reported to be a more than $40m deal. The sale is expected to be finalised later this month. Calabria Family Wines spokesman, Andrew Calabria, says McWilliams was the catalyst for the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area developing into one of the country’s biggest grape and wine producing regions.
